(FERGUS, ON) – On October 10, 2014 at approximately 11:15 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the Wellington County Crime Unit along with the Wellington County Emergency Response Team arrested a male suspect in an Edmonton homicide.
Daryl Pierre RIVEST, age 42, was wanted in connection with a 2013 homicide that occurred in Edmonton. A warrant was issued for him and Edmonton Police Service requested Wellington County OPP’s assistance after the investigation revealed he was staying in Fergus.
The accused is currently in custody and will be transported to Edmonton Alberta to face the charge of First Degree Murder.
