(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at approximately 2:49 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a theft report after someone had stolen a weed trimmer from the back of a pick-up truck.
Sometime between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on June 17th unknown person(s) removed a Stihl SS110 weed trimmer from the back of a pick-up truck while two Ministry of Transportation highway maintenance employees were cutting grass in the rest area on Hwy. 10 near Road 130 in the Municipality of Grey HIghlands.
A black Ford 150 pick-up truck with a tonneau cover was seen in the rest area prior to the theft of the weed trimmer, which was valued at approximately $500. The driver of the suspect vehicle was described as male, 6 feet tall, short brown hair, medium build, wearing a black t-shirt and grey shorts.
