(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERAMOSA, ON) – On October 7, 2017 at approximately 12:25 p.m., a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on County 124, near Eramosa Road, Township of Guelph-Eramosa. The officer observed a female driving a 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at 107km/h in a 50 km/h zone.
25-year-old Sabrina WATSON of Halton Hills has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Provincial Court on November 15, 2017. Her driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.
