(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) Perth County OPP is investigating a break and enter at the Wallace Public School in Gowanstown.
The break-in occurred sometime in the early hours of Tuesday, March 02, 2010. Investigation indicates that the most likely time of the entry was just before 4 a.m.
The culprit(s) drove a vehicle to the back of the school near the classroom which was entered. Entry to the room was gained by climbing through a window. Inside the classroom, a Motorola walkie-talkie and 4 ACER horizontal style computers with dark grey fronts were taken. The key boards and monitors were left behind. The culprit(s) left the school using the rear door.
The Perth County OPP is continuing to investigate this incident and are requesting anyone with information about this crime or who observed anything suspicious between 3 and 4 a.m. on Tuesday morning in Gowanstown to contact them.
