The Chatham-Kent police would like remind everyone that the ‘Walk a Mile in Her Shoes’ will be starting at 12:30 this afternoon at the King Street Commons area in front of the Downtown Chatham Centre.
Motorists are asked to slow down and use patience in this area as many men will literally be walking a mile in a pair of women’s red, high heeled shoes in an effort to raise awareness about domestic violence.
