(SOUTH-WEST OXFORD, ON.) – At approximately 1:24 a.m. on June 18, 2016, Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a vehicle travelling at varying speeds and across multiple lanes, westbound on Highway 401 near Dodge Line in South-West Oxford Township.
OPP attempted to conduct a traffic stop with emergency lights and sirens activated, but the vehicle continued and failed to stop for police. OPP members attended the Highway and were able to assist and safely stop the vehicle.
As a result of the traffic stop and the investigation, a 55-year-old female was charged.

OPP would like to remind the motoring public, if in your travels you hear sirens or see emergency lights to please pull over to the side of the road when it is safe to do so.
