(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment have charged a 24-year-old male after police investigated an incident at a Union Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Saturday, October 31, 2015 at approximately 12:26 a.m., police received a report of a sexual assault.
Through the course of investigation it was determined that a male attended the address and gained entry. Once inside, he displayed a weapon and sexually assaulted a female occupant.
The male fled from the area and was subsequently located by police and was taken into custody without incident.
As a result of the investigation, police have charged 24-year-old Joshua Devon BARR of no fixed address with sexual assault with a weapon and break and enter.
