(Tyendinaga Township, ON) – On the night of May 27, 2018 at 03:41am officers with the Napanee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a 911 call. The officers were unaware of the reason for the call to a residence in Tyendinaga Township.
At the residence officers located a female who reported she had been sexually assaulted and unable to contact police so sent a text to a third party to call police.
The Napanee Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Unit are involved in the investigation which is ongoing at this time.
Johnathan WHEESK was arrested and charged with; Sexual Assault, Forcible Confinement and Uttering Threats. The accused was held for Bail and remained into custody.
