(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) -On July 9, 2014 Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received 3 reports of theft from vehicles parked in driveways overnight at homes in the Town of Erin. The suspect(s) entered unlocked vehicles and took wallets, loose change, and sunglasses.
Police want to remind vehicle owners that thefts from vehicles are a crime of opportunity. An unlocked vehicle door or an open window is an invitation to thieves, and keeping valuables out of view could prevent a theft from occurring.
Anyone with information regarding the thefts, please contact Wellington County OPP at
1-888-310-1122.
