Vehicle Vs Moose Collision – One Extricated

(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On November 18, 2016 the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Seguin Fire Department, Parry Sound Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a moose on Highway 400 northbound near Healey Lake Road. The vehicle struck a moose causing the vehicle to leave the roadway.

Bentley SOLOMON, 55 years of age from Sagamok First Nation, was extricated from his vehicle and transported to hospital. Solomon suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
