(Bancroft, Ontario) – At approximately 5:53 a.m. on Tuesday the August 25th 2014, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a vehicle fire on Brethour Road in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands. The GMC pickup truck had been destroyed by fire when officers arrived on scene.
Investigation revealed that the truck had been stolen from a residence in the Ennismore area overnight.
