(Municipality of Trent Lakes, ON) – On Wednesday August 14, at approximately 6:29 p.m. members from Peterborough County OPP and Municipality of Trent Lakes Fire Department, were called to a vehicle fire on Bass Lake Road..
Upon arriving at the scene it was discovered that a 2007 Honda Civic had been travelling on Bass Lake road when it caught fire. The driver was able to safely stop the vehicle and exit it without any injuries.
The Trent Lakes Fire Department extinguished the fire without incident. OPP officers closed the roadway briefly while the fire was extinguished.
No further police action is involved in the incident.
