(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) remind residents once again to keep their vehicles locked and avoid leaving valuables in plain view to prevent these ‘thefts of opportunity’ from occurring.
Five vehicles had been entered in the area of Fairway Heights, Isla Street and McDuff Street in Markdale, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands, sometime overnight on Wednesday, May 6th, 2015. Stolen items included a GPS, lap top computer, iPod, chargers, a women’s purse, and a green light used by volunteer firefighters.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Residents are encouraged to report suspicious vehicles and or persons to police.
