(ORILLIA, ON) – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged two vehicle drivers with blood alcohol levels higher than the legal limit.
On Wednesday January 22, 2014 at approximately 6:14 p.m., Orillia OPP were advised of a possible impaired driver by a member of the public. Officers were given a location, description of the vehicle and a licence plate number. Officers attended the area and located the vehicle in a driveway off of Fittons Road West in Orillia. After further investigation the driver of the vehicle was arrested and charged with Over 80 milligrams Blood/Alcohol.
Russell TRODD, 67 years old of Orillia will appear in Orillia court on February 11, 2014.
On Thursday January 23, 2014 at approximately 3:19 p.m., Orillia OPP responded to complaints of a vehicle parked in the middle of Peter Street North. Witnesses advised that the owner of the vehicle would not move his vehicle as he was upset with vehicles parking on Peter Street North. On attending officers spoke with a male party and after further investigation the male was arrested and charged with Over 80 milligrams Blood/Alcohol, Cause Disturbance and Intimidation.
Christopher BELL, 44 years old of Orillia, will appear in Orillia court on February 25, 2014.
