On 21 September 2015 at approximately 10:11am the Owen Sound Police investigated a two vehicle collision at the corner of 10th Street East and 4th Avenue East Owen Sound.
The investigation revealed that two vehicles were north bound in the 900 block of 4th Avenue East approaching a red light at 10th Street East. A dump truck which was the lead vehicle put its right signal on and then pulled over to the left to accommodate a wide right turn. The second vehicle pulled along the right side of the dump truck unaware the dump truck was turning right. When the light turned green the dump truck not realizing there was a vehicle on its right began making the turn. The dump truck caught the second vehicle and dragged it several feet. There were no injuries as a result of this collision which is still under investigation.
