(ARRAN TWP, ON) – On October 7, 2013 at 7:24 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single vehicle crash on Side road 5 in Arran Township. Officers arrived to find that a Black Volkswagen Jetta crested a hill and struck a tree that was lying across the road. The 29 year old driver wasn’t injured and the vehicle sustained minor damage to the front bumper.
Debris or objects on the road ranked 7th on the 2012 top 10 list of contributing factors to vehicle crashes in the South Bruce OPP detachment area.
