(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred at the Shell gas station located on Main Street North in Exeter. At approximately 4:40 a.m. on October 4, 2013 two male suspects smashed the front door of the gas station to gain entry. Once inside the suspects proceeded to steal a large quantity of cigarettes. In addition, the thieves stole several bottles of energy drinks and lighters.
The suspects left the scene in what is believed to be a late model silver GMC Envoy or Chevrolet Trailblazer.
One of the suspects was wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap, blue jeans and white and black Adidas running shoes.
The other suspect was wearing a black balaclava, blue jeans with orange Nike running shoes.
Both males appeared to have average size builds.
At this point a dollar value of the stolen property is not known.
