UPPER OTTAWA VALLEY CRIME OF THE WEEK

Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers and the Ministry of Natural Resources are asking for the publics’ assistance in solving illegal hunting.

The public is reminded that you must unload and encase firearms in your possession during the period from a half hour after sunset to a half hour before sunrise. The only exception is for licensed night raccoon hunters. It is also illegal to possess a loaded firearm in or on a vehicle which includes ATV’s and discharge from a vehicle. Loaded firearm means one in the chamber and or the magazine loaded and attached to the firearm. For more information please visit the Hunting Regulations.
