(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a single dirt bike collision at a Highway 59, Middleton, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, September 7, 2013 at approximately 9:57 p.m., the Norfolk County OPP was notified that a single dirt bike collision had taken place at Gopher Dunes located at Highway 59.
Through investigation it has been determined that a 20 year old male was operating a black, 2001 Honda CR 125 dirt bike and was performing a jump manoeuver when he lost control.
He was subsequently transported to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital and then air lifted to a London Heath Sciences Hospital with life threatening injuries.
On Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at approximately 6:30 p.m., 20 year old Robert TIFFIN from St Thomas, Ontario was pronounced deceased by attending physicians.
Technical Traffic Collision investigators are assisting with the investigation.
The investigation is continuing.
