(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON)- Members of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Marine Unit and the OPP Underwater Search and Rescue Unit (USRU) conducted searches of the waters below Recollet Falls in the French River Provincial Park as a result of a canoe capsizing on Sunday, July 27, 2014.
On Monday, July 28, 2014 shortly after 5:30 p.m., OPP divers located and recovered the body of Arpad DEAK, 40, of Hungary shortly in 5.4 meters of water 75 meters west of the falls.
A post mortem examination will be conducted on July 29, 2014.
