(BRUCE PENINSULA, ON.) The search for a missing boater on the Sauble River near Park Head continues today Sunday October 27, 2013. The Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) utilized the Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU) to search the fast moving and muddy waters of the Sauble River on Saturday. Today the OPP Helicopter will be assisting in the search for the missing party. The OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and members of the Bruce Peninsula OPP will continue a ground search along with members of the missing party’s family.
At this time the name of the missing party will not be released at the request of the family. The OPP continue to ask for the help of the public should they see anything that may assist in this investigation of a missing person.
