(MUNICIPALITY OF HURON EAST, ON) The male killed in yesterday’s crash in Walton has been identified as 44 year old Peter ZANDERSONS from Kitchener.
There was an event taking place at the Walton Motocross track yesterday but at the time of the crash, ZANDERSONS was not participating in a race. He was operating his Honda motocross bike on the track when he lost control and struck a tree. He was wearing a helmet and protective gear.
A post mortem examination is expected to take place in Stratford on July 11, 2011.
The investigation is continuing.
