UPDATE: LONG GUNS STOLEN FROM SEVERN TOWNSHIP RESIDENCE

(SEVERN, ON) – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit has concluded their investigation into the theft of several long guns from a residence in Severn Township. An arrest was made and charges have been laid.

The break in occurred sometime between July 9, and July 10, 2014 on Timberline Avenue in Severn Township. The suspect entered through a basement window and left with shotguns, rifles, ammunition and other items. No one was in the residence at the time.

Justin HODDINOTT 25 years old and a resident of Severn Township, has been charged with Break and Enter and Steal a Firearm. He will be appearing in Orillia Court on August 19th, 2014.

Officers recovered all the stolen firearms in relation to this incident.

Police are continuing their investigation into several other residential break and enters.
