On the 5th of October 2013, a motor vehicle was traveling eastbound on Hwy 63 between Peninsula Rd and Daly’s Road when it struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian was wearing dark clothing and walking down the road in an unlit part of highway. The driver of the motor vehicle did not see the pedestrian in time to prevent a collision
