(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are continuing their investigation into a collision which occurred on Highway 40 near Heritage Line on January 11, 2014, just before 4:00 p.m. Investigation has determined that a Toyota car crossed into the path of an oncoming Chrysler car.
The deceased driver of the Toyota car has been identified as Antony NASCIMENTO, age 53, from Toronto, ON. The female passenger of the Toyota car, Rooshmanie RAMBARRAN, age 51, from Toronto, ON, was taken to hospital where she is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The female driver of the Chrysler vehicle, Catherine CARON, age 19, from Wallaceburg, ON, was taken to hospital where she is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing. Charges are not anticipated.
