(THUNDER BAY, ON) On May 20, 2015 at approximately 8:15 pm, officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call advising of a vehicle located on an unnamed bush road approximately eight kilometres west of Shabaqua. Officers were also advised a deceased male was located within the vehicle. A couple were checking their minnow traps in the area when they came across the vehicle.
Upon officer’s arrival at the scene, they observed a white Ford truck located on a bush road approximately one kilometre south of Highway 17.
A post mortem was conducted today to determine positive identification of the deceased male. The deceased male has been identified as Terry BRASSEUR, 42 years of age from Thunder Bay. Mr. BRASSEUR was the focus of a missing person investigation initiated by the Thunder Bay Police Service on April 17, 2015. Foul Play is not suspected.
