(EAST ZORRA – TAVISTOCK, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has completed their investigation into a collision that occurred before 9:00 a.m. on January 9, 2014 at the intersection of Oxford County Road #33 and the 16th Line in East Zorra – Tavistock.
The collision involved an OPP cruiser and a Langs Bus Lines school bus carrying 17 students travelling to Innerkip Central School. There were no injuries as a result of the collision.
The OPP cruiser was travelling southbound on 16th Line approaching the intersection at County Road #33. The cruiser began to slow for the stop sign and slid through the intersection striking the eastbound school bus. The intersection at the time of the collision was ice covered. No charges will be laid.
