(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Auxiliary officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in conjunction with the Salvation Army will be hosting their annual Christmas toy and food drive in Collingwood in December.
The drive will take place on Sunday December 15th where OPP Auxiliary officers will be at the Loblaw, Metro, Sobeys and Wal-Mart stores in Collingwood from 11:00am to 6:00pm. This is a yearly event organized by the Collingwood/The Blue Mountains OPP Auxiliary officers benifiting the local Salvation Army and has always been a great opportunity to spread some Christmas cheer.
The auxiliary officers and Salvation Army will be accepting new unwrapped toys, cash donations and non perishable food items to support families in the Collingwood area. So come on over and donate for this worthy cause and help make someone’s holidays more festive.
