(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On August 18, 2014 at approximately 5:10 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Town of Minto Fire Department, and Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responded to a report of an Ultralight crash into a field at Wellington County Road 109 and 1st Line, in the Town of Minto.
Upon arrival officers located an Ultralight Trike with two male occupants who had suffered minor injuries. The pilot was treated and released at the scene while the passenger was transported by Guelph-Wellington EMS to a local hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined and the Transport Safety Bureau has been notified.
