(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – On October 25, 2016, at approximately 8:00 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were alerted to a suspect vehicle which had been involved in a fail to remain collision on 19 Line and Road 64, in Oxford County, Ontario.
Officers located the motor vehicle, a grey Chevrolet pickup truck, on Highway 402 westbound, near Wonderland Road, in the City of London, Ontario. It was determined that the 23-year-old male driver had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing, which revealed he had consumed more than twice the legal limit of alcohol.
As a result of the police investigation, Tyler BROSSEAU, from Norfolk County, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), care or control over 80 mgs, and fail to stop at scene of accident, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on December 5, 2016.
