(CHIPPEWAS OF THE THAMES)- On Friday April 18, 2014 at 8:25 a.m. members of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation Police Service located severely damaged Dodge Neon motor vehicle and an abandoned Ford F150 pickup truck, in a field area off of Thomigo Road. It was later confirmed that the pickup truck had been stolen during the previous night from the Chippewas of the Thames Roads Department yard, located on the 20600 block of Munsey Road. The recovered Dodge Neon had been captured on video surveillance being used to smash open the front gate of the secure yard. Once inside two male suspects were observed to force open a door to a garage area of the yard where they proceeded to remove the pickup truck.
