(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating the robbery of a cellular phone outlet and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the two suspects responsible.
On April 13, 2015, at approximately 8:45pm, two male suspects entered a cellular store outlet situated along the 1500 block of Merivale Road. The suspects entered the premises wearing disguises and advised employees it was a robbery. One suspect displayed a handgun tucked in his waistband. The suspects obtained over 40 various makes and types of smart phones and then fled the premises. There were no injuries.
The suspects are described as follows:
Suspect 1: male with tanned skin, possibly of Hispanic or Middle Eastern descent, 5’10-6’0″(178 – 183cm)
