Two Speeding Tickets On The Way To Work

(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Wednesday July 27, 2011 shortly before 7 a.m., a Perth County OPP officer in Mitchell observed a fast moving east bound car on Frank St. in Mitchell. The officer obtained a speed reading on the car of 80 km/h in the 50km/h zone using his radar speed measuring device. The officer pulled over the vehicle and served the 30 year old female driver from Seaforth a speeding ticket. The driver was agitated and said she was late for work. Upon receiving the ticket she sped away from the officer causing gravel and dust to fly as she drove off. The officer once again activated his radar and obtained a reading on the lady’s car of 70km/h in a 50 km/h zone as she drove off. The lady was stopped again and was served a second speeding ticket.
