TWO PEOPLE INJURED IN SNOWMOBILE COLLISION

(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFF, ON) – On Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at approximately 3:40 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a snowmobile collision which sent two people to hospital.

A 46 year old Georgian Bluffs woman and her 9 year old nephew were transported to hospital in Owen Sound with serious non-life threatening injuries after their snowmobile, a 1982 Ski Doo Citation, collided with some trees. The collision occurred on private property in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

The female victim has since been released from hospital.

Grey County Emergency Services (EMS) and the Inter-Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
