(ZORRA TOWNSHIP, ON.) – Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) members arrested two people during their investigation into a break and enter that occurred on November 3, 2013.
On November 3, 2013 at approximately 2:47 a.m. O.P.P. responded to a break and enter in progress at the Highland Restaurant located on Commissioners Street in Embro. Investigation revealed that the Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) had been stolen, and that a dark coloured Buick Rendezvous had been seen in the area by a resident.
While officers were patrolling the area of the break and enter, officers observed a Ford F-150 pickup truck travelling with the Buick. A traffic stop was initiated, and the vehicle failed to stop for police. A pursuit was initiated, contact was lost with the Buick while the pursuit was continued with the Ford pickup. The pursuit was terminated for safety reasons.
Sometime later, the Buick was observed and stopped for speeding and the male driver was subsequently arrested.
The Ford pickup was later recovered in the City of London, and had been reported as a stolen vehicle.
As a result of the investigation one other male was arrested by police.

Shane ANDREWS, 37 years old, of London:
Break, Enter and Commit
Theft of motor vehicle
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Alain CLOUTIER, 36 years old, of London:
Break, Enter and Commit
Theft of motor vehicle
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
Both male parties were held for bail hearings and are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock.
