TWO MOTORCYCLES INVOLVED IN COLLISION

(CENTRAL ELGIN, ON) – On August 10, 2014 at approximately 2:56 p.m. members of the Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Thames Emergency Medical Services, and Malahide Fire and Emergency Services, responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two motorcycles.

The collision occurred on Dexter Line between Imperial Road and Harding Smith Line, in Central Elgin, ON.

A 2013 white Kawasaki motorcycle was travelling west bound on Dexter Line, and for unknown reasons, collided with a 2004 black Suzuki motorcycle, which was travelling east bound on Dexter Line.

The driver, and lone occupant of the Kawasaki, a 53 year old male from St. Thomas, ON, was transported to hospital with non- life threatening injuries, where he is currently listed in good condition.

The driver, and lone occupant of the Suzuki, a 51 year old male from Central Elgin, ON, was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, where he is currently listed in fair condition.

Dexter Line is open.

This incident is still under investigation.
