TWO LEAMINGTON MEN CHARGED

(LEAMINGTON, ON) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Leamington conducted a vehicle stop yesterday afternoon on Talbot Street East in Leamington resulting in two Leamington men being charged.

The male driver of the vehicle exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene. The male passenger of the vehicle was in breach of conditions and was also arrested at the scene. Police also located between $ 100-$120 (street value) worth of cocaine powder.

Andrew D’AVERSA, age 21 of Leamington, has been charged with Drive While Ability Impaired and Possession of a Schedule I Substance. He will appear in a Leamington court on May 15, 2014.

Mark STANGE, age 27, also of Leamington, has been charged with two counts of Breach of Recognizance as well as Possession of a Schedule I Substance. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
