(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) On Sunday, January 18, 2015 at approximately 3:18 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of two people injured as a result of a single vehicle rollover in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
A 2004 Chevrolet Impala was being operated eastbound on Grey Road 32. The driver lost control of the vehicle and as a result the vehicle rolled onto its roof and collided with a tree.
Grey County Emergency Services and Grey Highlands Fire Department attended the scene. The passenger had to be extricated from the vehicle using the “jaws of lifeâ€.
The 25 year old female driver and the 21 year old male passenger, both of Elora, Ontario, were transported to hospital via ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. They have since been released.
Grey Road 32 between the East Back Line and Hwy. 10 was closed for approximately three hours for emergency responders.
