Two Homes Entered on Berry Street

The Chatham-Kent police are looking for information after two homes were entered on Berry Street yesterday.

Sometime between 12:45 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. an unknown male suspect entered an unlocked residence and stole a small quantity of cash. The homeowner returned to her residence and witnessed the male running out the front door. The male was approximately 5’9”-5’10”, wearing jeans, light gray hooded sweatshirt and red winter hat.

Around 5:00 p.m. police attended a second residence on Berry Street. At this time, the homeowner reported that sometime between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. unknown suspect(s) stole approximately $150 worth of jewelry. A witness in the area observed a young white male with short dark wearing blue jeans and maroon stripped hooded sweatshirt leaving the residence around noon with a bag in his hand.
