(NOTTAWASAGA, ON) The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating two suspicious fires in our area. It is unknown if the two fire scenes are connected at this time.
Police were called to a fire on a rural property on December 10, 2013 at 8:24pm on the 13th Line of the Town of New Tecumseth. The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office was contacted and attended as part of this investigation.
The second fire happened last night (December 11th) at 7:36pm on Wales Avenue North in Adjala-Tosorontio Township and involved a storage trailer on the property.
Police utilized the K-9 Officer, Emergency Response Team members and Scenes of Crime Officers for both fires. The Nottawasaga OPP Crime Unit will be continuing the investigation.
