(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – A County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was on routine patrol in the Town of Paris. At approximately 1:40 a.m. on December 12, 2014 the officer stopped a 1999 Honda Civic on Grand River Street North.
While the officer was talking to the two male occupants of the vehicle, he could smell the strong odour of burnt cannabis. When the officer checked the vehicle he located a large amount of marihuana.
Kristopher CHAMBERS 22 years of age and Dakota FRANCIS 22 years of age, both from the County of Brant are facing the following criminal charge
Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking- under 3kg
Both accused are scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Brantford on January 23, 2015 to answer to the charge.
