Two Charged In $220,000 Central Huron Drug Bust – Names Released

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – On Tuesday, June 7, 2016, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, Huron OPP Property Crimes Unit, West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Huron OPP, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence located on Orchard Line, in the Municipality of Central Huron, Huron County, Ontario.

As a result of the execution of the search warrant, Police seized cannabis marihuana, cannabis resin, cocaine, oxycodone tablets and psilocybin. The estimated, combined street value of the seized controlled substances is $222,000.

Police also seized offence related property that consisted of cannabis marihuana growing equipment and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Police have arrested and charged 45-year-old Brian WIEBE and 19-year-old Wesley WIEBE both from the Municipality of Central Huron with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana, Cannabis Resin and Oxycodone for the Purposes of Trafficking and Possession of Cocaine & Psilocybin.

Both accused have since been released from custody. Brian WIEBE has a court appearance scheduled for June 20, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich and Wesley WIEBE has an appearance scheduled for July 8, 2016.
