Two Bruce County Men” Charged With Child Pornography Offences”

(PORT ELGIN, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit (Project “P”), OPP Technological Crime Unit, South Bruce OPP Detachment and the Saugeen Shores Police Service have arrested and charged two Bruce County men following an on-line undercover child pornography investigation.

On January 24, 2012, police executed search warrants at two different residences in Bruce County; one in Port Elgin and one in Chesley. As a result of these investigations, five computers and external media was seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.

Wilfred ‘Ryan’ CLENDINNING, 29 years-old of Port Elgin, Ontario is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, and one count of Accessing Child Pornography. The accused will appear for a bail hearing on January 25, 2012 in the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton, Ontario.

William Clifford MASON, 45 years-old of Chesley, Ontario is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, and one count of Accessing Child Pornography. The accused will appear for a bail hearing on January 25, 2012 in the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton, Ontario.

The investigation is continuing.
