(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON ) – Members of the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the assistance of the South Porcupine Forensic Identification Unit have charged a local man and woman with criminal Offences. The charges stem from a 32 year old male being stabbed during an altercation at a residence located on Second Street in Kirkland Lake. The incident occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. on December 11, 2014.
The victim suffered none life threatening injuries, and has being treated at the hospital. He continues to recover from the injuries sustained. HE is expected to recover from the sustained injuries.
Charged is Fiona RIPLEY age 26 of Kirkland Lake, Ontario with Aggravated Assault. Also charged is Jody MULVIHILL age 40 of Kirkland Lake Ontario with Aggravated Assault and Breach of Probation. Both accused have been remanded into custody pending a bail hearing.
