(Oro-Medonte, ON)- On Thursday January 16, 2014 at 8:40 pm officers from the Barrie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint in the area of Bayfield St, in Springwater Twp.
Snow Valley staff contacted the OPP after observing a GMC pickup truck nearly collide with another vehicle. The male driver and passengers were observed leaving the resort after being obnoxious with staff and littering the parking lot with beer bottles.
The vehicle was followed and observed driving in an erratic manner. The pickup truck was stopped and it was found that the driver had been drinking.
Troy DOHERTY a 28-year old Orillia man has been charged with “Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Bloodâ€Â. He is scheduled to appear at Provincial Court in Barrie Monday February 3rd 2014.
