(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) –Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to attend Highway #403 in the County of Brant in response to a possible impaired driver being followed by a citizen at approximately 10:00 p.m. on 16 December 2016.
OPP officers attended the area and located the vehicle which was stopped on Highway #403 west bound near Bishopsgate Road in the County of Brant. During the investigation officers determined that the driver of the 2010 grey GMC Sierra pick-up truck was impaired by alcohol.
Police have charged 31-year-old Trevor WILLIS of Grimsby, Ontario with Driving with More than 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada:
He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date to answer to his charges. If convicted, the offender will be subject to the Criminal Code penalties, including a fine or jail time, and a driving prohibition.
