(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On January 21, 2014, just before 11:30 a.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers stopped a Mercedes vehicle on Highway 401 westbound near Bloomfield Road.
As a result of the subsequent OPP traffic investigation, the male driver, 41 year old Iban OROZCO LOMELI, from Toronto, was charged with the following:
Speeding, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
Class G1 Licence Holder – Unaccompanied By Qualified Driver, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
Class G1 Licence Holder – Drive On Prohibited Highway, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
The male passenger in the vehicle, 34 year old Venegas BADILLO, from Toronto, was charged with Permit Novice Driver to Drive in Contravention of Condition or Restriction, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
