(NORTH BAY, ON) – On February 8, 2017 at 1:42 p.m. the North Bay Ontario Provincial Police, (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Highway 11 near Nova Beaucage Rd in the North Bay area.
The investigation revealed that the two occupants of the vehicle were in possession of methamphetamine and hydromorph tablets. The approximate value of the seized drugs is $20,000.
A male party, Adam MURRAY 33, of North Bay is charged with:
• Two counts – Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking– Other Drugs, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).
• Drive vehicle – no valid plate contrary to section 7(1)(a) of the Highway Traffic Act (HTA)
• Drive vehicle while suspended contrary to section 53(1) of the HTA
A female party, Amanda RICK 32, also from North Bay is charged with:
• two counts – Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking– Other Drugs, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).
The accused parties were released from police custody and are to appear in the North Bay Ontario Court of Justice on April 25th, 2017.
