(LAKESHORE, ON) On Saturday, August 17, 2013 at approximately 2:20 pm, a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) West Region Highway Enforcement Team (WRHET) stopped a vehicle in a routine traffic stop to check the vehicle documentation in Lakeshore.
The vehicle, a 1998 Honda Civic, was travelling westbound on Highway 401 in the Town of Lakeshore. The officer located and seized a quantity of suspected marihuana from within the vehicle
A 23 year old male from Ajax, was arrested and charged with Possession Schedule II Cannabis Marihuanaâ€â€Under 30 Grams. He will appear in a Windsor court on September 30, 2013.
