(NORWICH TOWNSHIP, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid several charges following a routine traffic stop overnight in Norwich Township.
Shortly before 10:00 p.m., OPP stopped a vehicle on Oxford Road 13 near Norwich Road. The lone male driver was spoken to and an investigation commenced.
It was discovered that the licence plates attached to the vehicle were stolen and the male was arrested.
Drazen BOROJEVIC, 26 years old of Hamilton, has been charged with the following offences:
Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000 -The Criminal Code of Canada
Driving While Suspended – 3 Counts -The Highway Traffic Act
Fail to Apply for Permit on becoming owner -The Highway Traffic Act
Operate Motor Vehicle Without Insurance -The Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
He was released on a Promise to Appear and has a pending court date in Woodstock.
